A silver-tongued performer and information broker, Arannis travels from tavern to court with equal ease. He favors diplomacy over bloodshed but can turn the tide of battle with a well-timed flourish or cutting word.
Traits
Fey Ancestry. Advantage on saves vs. being charmed; magic can't put him to sleep.
Jack of All Trades. Adds +2 to ability checks that don't already include proficiency.
Song of Rest. During a short rest, allies who hear him regain an extra 1d6 hit points when spending Hit Dice.

Rapier. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage.
Shortbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 80/320 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage.
Bardic Inspiration (3/Long Rest). Bonus Action. A creature within 60 ft. that can hear him gains one d8 Inspiration for 10 minutes.
Reactions
Cutting Words. Subtract 1d8 from a creature's attack, ability check, or damage roll within sight.
